This Privacy Policy describes how WhoMeta Inc. ("WhoMeta", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you visit whometa.io, contact us, or use the hosted Arqent platform (the "Services").

1 Scope

This policy applies to our website, our sales and support communications and the Arqent platform as a hosted service.

It does not apply to:

individual Solutions available in Arqent that provide their own privacy information;
customer-operated or separately contracted private deployments;
third-party services you choose to connect, including AI models you bring yourself, which are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

2 Information we collect

Contact information, such as name, business email address, organization and role, when you contact us, request a demo or create an account.
Account information, such as login credentials, roles, organization membership and account settings.
Content you and your organization submit to or generate in the Services, such as files, messages, prompts, tasks and results ("Customer Content").
Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, log data and information about how the Services are used.
Billing and transaction information, where applicable.

3 How we use information

We use information to:

provide, operate, maintain and support the Services;
create and secure accounts and protect the Services against fraud and abuse;
respond to inquiries and communicate with you about the Services;
process payments and keep business records;
improve the Services and develop new features;
comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We use Customer Content only to provide and support the Services for your organization. We do not use Customer Content to train AI models for other customers or general-purpose models.

4 Customer Content and our customers

When an organization uses Arqent, that organization controls the Customer Content in its workspace and decides how it is used. We process Customer Content on its behalf. If your information is included in Customer Content, please direct your request to that organization; we will support it in responding.

5 AI models

Arqent uses AI models to process requests and produce results. Depending on the configuration chosen by your organization, the relevant content is processed by a model your organization provides itself or by a model provider selected in Arqent, such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Microsoft Azure. Model providers selected in Arqent process content only to provide the Services. Models your organization brings itself are governed by its own agreement with that provider.

AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. Your organization remains responsible for reviewing results before relying on them.

6 How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only:

with service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting, security, communication and AI model providers, under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations;
with third-party services your organization chooses to connect;
when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of WhoMeta, our customers or others;
in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

7 Cookies and similar technologies

We use only cookies and browser storage that are necessary to run the Services, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your settings. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our Services do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals, as we do not track you across third-party websites.

8 Data storage and retention

The Services are hosted and information is stored in the United States. We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services, to meet the purposes described in this policy and to comply with legal obligations. When an account ends, Customer Content is deleted in line with our Terms and Conditions; backup copies are removed in the regular backup cycle.

9 Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10 Your choices and rights

Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to receive a copy of it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You can also update account information in Arqent and opt out of marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.

To make a request, contact us at privacy@whometa.io. We may need to verify your identity before responding. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf.

11 Children

The Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the date above. If changes are material, we will notify account holders by email or in the Services.
